Our mission statement: The Fremont Area Chamber  works to promote a favorable business climate for its membership and provide leadership to improve the economy and quality of life in the Fremont area.

Priorities for 2008

• Attain the Well City designation by signing up at least 20% of the communities' workforce by 2009.
  

• Take proactive steps in collaboration efforts with key leadership groups in order to function at a higher level in terms of cooperative planning on common goals.
  

• Create and implement a Chamber marketing plan to assist in growing and retaining our membership base..
  

• Implement a strategy for improving educational attainment levels and communicate those benefits to the membership.
