MEMBERSHIP SERVICES COUNCIL: Focus the chamber’s energy and resources on providing exceptional customer service to members and to promote the value of the Fremont Chamber broadly throughout the region.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COUNCIL: Consider, evaluate and advocate for policies, regulations, legislative positions and infrastructure concerns that advance economic development and the quality of life for the Fremont area.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL: Provide support and encouragement to business development in the Fremont area including existing, entrepreneurial start-ups, expansions and recruitment.
AGRICULTURE BUSINESS AND NATURAL RESOURCES COUNCIL: Support and advocated for development of agricultural enterprises and stewardship of natural resources, and provide broad based education regarding agriculture’s significant positive contributions to Fremont’s economy.
LEADERSHIP & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL: Elevate Fremont’s leadership capabilities by providing professional development opportunities to community members through a multi-faceted approach.
COMMUNITY BRANDING TASK FORCE: Guides a process to establish a strong, resonate brand for Fremont through multiple media platforms and creative messaging.
FREMONT COLLABORATION TEAM: Promotes cross-organizational communication and collaboration and provides strategic vision and prioritization for major community development and improvement projects and identify resources to support accomplishment of priorities and goals.
THINK LOCAL: Growing out of the belief that dollars circulated locally build in value, this program encourages residents to use local merchants and services first.
FREMONT BUCK$: A check-like currency issued by the chamber supports the concept of “Buy Local” and is popular among businesses as employee or customer gifts. The BUCK$ are treated just like cash at local merchants.
LEADERSHIP FREMONT: A nine-month series – one day per month - of leadership development activities and community awareness sessions that enhance knowledge about Fremont. Participants tour local, regional and state points of interest to gain contextual information about the inner workings of government, businesses and community service organizations.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP ACADEMY: Similar in structure to the adult Leadership Fremont, YLA is targeted to high school juniors. Added to the curriculum are hands-on immersive activities in civics led by Fremont’s mayor and group projects that end with public presentations.
FREMONT CORN EXPO: A January event that celebrates and informs area corn growers with programs and exhibits organized by Nebraska Extension Office. The Chamber, in conjunction with sponsors, provides a free breakfast to attendees.
OTHER PROGRAMS AND EVENTS:
